MP3 & Ringtone Editor for Android

MP3 & Ringtone Editor for Android: Have you ever listened to a song or music and thought that it was your own and wanted to have it as your cell phone ringtone? Although you can take the MP3 of that song or music and set it as your phone ringtone, when your phone rings, the whole song starts playing. This is definitely not a good idea. If you wanted to, only a part of that song (maybe the most exciting part) would be played over and over again when your phone rings.For this you would normally need an audio editor like Audacity on your PC to extract the part of the music to set as a ringtone, but not if you’re not using an Android smartphone. Android users can use the free Ringdroid ringtone editor, which can set part of a full track as a ringtone.

Ringdroid, Ringtone editor for Android smartphones

As you launch Ringdroid, it shows you a list of all the music files it has found on your SD cards. You can select one of these music files to edit your ringtone. But Ringdroid also lets you record your own voice via the voice recorder, which you can turn on by tapping the microphone icon at the top. The voice recorder can also be used to record sounds of nature, street noises, music playing on the radio, or any other sounds you think would be just as great as ringtones.

After selecting one of the music files, it opens in a very simple editor. This editor allows you to select the start and end points of the ringtone. This way, you can select only the most exciting part of the full song. You can also try the selection by playing the selected section. Once you have selected the desired section, you can tap the Save button at the top and save it as the new ringtone. The app also asks you to set the saved ringtone as the default ringtone to make it easier for you to select the new ringtone.

Conclusion;

Ringdroid app makes it possible to set your favorite songs as ringtones on your Android smartphone. It allows you to select a part from the full song, save it as a ringtone file and set it as the default ringtone on Android.

The Ringdroid app is available for Android at Google Play Store for Android.
