TikTok realizes that this can happen to you and that’s why they have ways you can use to report comments, videos and accounts. In this article we will cover how to do these three things on the (iOS – Android) app or (Tiktok.com) website. Before you do this, make sure you are logged into your account.
How to report comments, videos and accounts on TikTok?
Report a comment on TikTok
You can only report comments made on your video. Comments you think are inappropriate but made on other people’s videos can only be reported by them.
- On your iOS or Android app, tap the ‘Me’ button in the bottom right corner and your profile page will be displayed. If you are on Tiktok.com, tap your profile photo in the top right corner.
- Your videos will be automatically shown on the page that opens. Click or tap on the video with an inappropriate comment underneath.
- Tap and hold on the screen that opens. A small menu will appear. select ‘Report’.
- You will be asked to give a specific reason for reporting it. If necessary, you can add a comment.
- TikTok will then look at your report and give you the appropriate feedback. The comment will no longer be shown below your videos.
