How to Pair Android Device with Youtube on Smart TV? Just like Smartphones, Smart TV is becoming popular and the first choice of families. You can think of Smart TV as a large interactive device that runs apps, can browse websites and can connect to other devices via WiFi, HDMI and USB interfaces.Although most Smart TV sets come with their own Youtube app (and they allow you to install settings if they don’t come with the Youtube app pre-installed), but you can have most of the Youtube video you can watch by pairing your Android device with your Youtube app on the Smart TV. This way, whatever video you’re playing on the Android device is also streamed on the Smart TV.
How to Pair Android Device with Youtube on Smart TV
You can follow the simple instructions below to pair your Android device with Youtube on your Smart TV:
- First of all go to the Settings section of the Youtube app Settings on your Smart TV . Then using your TV remote control press the Double button shown on your screen.
- The Smart TV screen displays full instructions on how to pair the TV with a mobile device. Basically, it will show a nine-digit code that you need to enter into your mobile device’s Youtube app.
- Open the Youtube app on your Android device. Settings open and then select Connected TVs section . Here you can enter the nine-digit code shown on your TV screen in step 2 above.
- Alternatively, you can tap the small camera icon and scan the QR code shown on your Smart TV screen. It will automatically populate this nine-digit code in the Youtube app.
- Tapping the small Add button pairs the Smart TV and your Android device, so whatever you do in your Android device’s Youtube app will also stream to your TV’s screen.
You can see all paired devices in the Youtube app on your TV. If you later want to remove connected devices, you can also do so from the TV’s Youtube app. Similarly, you can remove all connected TVs from your Youtube app on your Android device.
