How to disable Firefox extension suggestion? In the latest version of the Firefox web browser (version 65), Firefox has added a new feature to suggest extensions to users. Firefox observes the websites you use, based on your browser usage, and recommends extensions based on the websites visited from Mozilla’s extension store. For example, if you are trying to watch a video online, Firefox will display a suggestion for a video-related extension. Similarly, if you use Facebook in Firefox, you may receive a Facebook-related extension suggestion. These suggestions appear in the Firefox web browser’s address bar, as shown in the bottom image.

Mozilla, these extensions make suggestions based on the website and how often you visit the site. But they do not share your data with third-party sites. Extensions are only suggested when you visit a particular website frequently, but websites are not aware of these extensions.
Experienced users already know and use many Firefox add-ons, but perhaps this feature would be a good thing to introduce new Firefox users to many useful add-ons. However, if you find extensions annoying, you can stop Firefox from suggesting extensions in the aforementioned way.
