- Open the Facebook app on your Android device
- Tap the menu icon with three stripes at the top right
- Go to Settings and Privacy and tap on
- Select language and choose from the list

- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone
- Tap the three-line menu icon at the bottom right
- Scroll down to select Settings and Privacy
- Tap Application Language
- You will be taken to your iPhone device settings where you can select your preferred language for the Facebook app.

- Click on the drop-down arrow at the top right
- Select Settings and Privacy
- Click Settings
- Click on Language and Region
- Click Edit in the Facebook language section
- Select your preferred language from the drop-down menu and click Save Changes.
Change Instagram language settings on Android or iOS devices
- Open the Instagram app on your Android or iOS device
- Tap the profile icon at the bottom right
- Tap the three stripes menu at the top right
- Select Settings at the bottom
- Tap the account
- Tap on Language and select from the list of available languages

- Click on your profile picture at the top right
- Open your profile
- Swipe downwards. You will see a pop-up icon on the screen.
- Click on it and select your preferred language and change your language
