How to Activate Twitter App Notifications? Twitter has become one of the main ways people interact with each other these days. People can tweet public messages quickly, send them to each other that are kept private between two users, and of course, you can follow all of your favorite celebrities on Twitter.
How to Activate Twitter App Notifications?
You don’t have to wait for your friends to reply to your previous tweet or go live on the internet while staring at your smartphone screen. Using the Twitter app’s account notification feature will notify you when your friends send a new tweet or go live for online broadcasting. These settings must be enabled for each account you want to receive notifications for. These notifications will appear on the lock screen or in the notifications bar.
How to enable Twitter app account notifications?
Here’s how to enable account notifications in the Twitter app:
- Launch the Twitter app on your smartphone and search for the person you want to receive notifications from. You need to follow that person for the account notification options to be visible.
- Tap the small bell icon next to the text on the screen.
- On the next screen, you will see the account notification options for the selected Twitter account. On all tweets, you can choose to enable notifications for live video only or turn off all notifications.
- When account notifications are enabled, the bell icon for that Twitter account will appear blue with a check mark indicating that you will receive notifications.
Twitter account notifications are only available on smartphone apps for Android and iOS. If you use a desktop web browser, you can enable web notifications, but they are only available if you use the Google Chrome web browser to access Twitter.
